Recently i have been thinking about objectives, strategy and mission statements – for a quick overview of strategy, check out my post An Unexpected Strategy Lesson by Alistair Campbell. Anyway, what i have come to realise is that you need a clear set of objectives (at the very least), a strategy and perhaps even a mission statement – it helps define where you’re going, without these you may find yourself wandering somewhat. It is with this in mind that i started reading around for some inspiration – from payment company mission statements to some of the tech giant mission statements – here’s what i found:
