The Top Payments News Stories in April, 2016

Payments news stories in April 2016 were dominated by the usual themes – fintech, mobile payments and blockchain technology. And of course, cyber-security continued to concern all players, particularly as details of the SWIFT based cyber-attack at Bangladesh Bank were unveiled. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and AliPay continue their global deployments and interestingly this month everyone seemed to offer their thoughts on blockchain and various applications.
